THE COMPANY SHOW

With new works commissioned each year, the Company show strives to elevate the art of dance as a tool for social commentary and to engage and educate the community on pressing social issues. Through this process, RACE reinforces its dedication to producing works of social significance, fostering a culture of informed empathy and action within the community.

How do you evolve as a learner?

To constantly be aware that you’re not going to learn it all; every experience you have - you’re learning.

What is Radical Learning?

Different. Big. Not like the norm. Radical is going away from the normal that it ignites others to question what normal is.

How has this shared experience expanded you?

This experience has reminded me of the power of community. I love collaborating with community partners to bring in other cultures that will only make us stronger.

Radical Application of Creative Energy

What it means to be radical is to not accept what is put in front of you. Making society question their limitations. Changing the narrative.
