Premiering
September 18-19
at rodeo cinema
A curated screening of short dance films that engage with what remains open, unresolved, and in motion.
UNFINISHED will invite audiences to experience questions, tension, and transformation, reflecting the ongoing nature of change in our bodies, relationships, and communities.
Each film will approach unfinishedness as a concept: socially, relationally, physically, or collectively. Movement in these films operates as language, dialogue, or offering, revealing ideas and emotions rather than simply for display.
The program highlights a range of perspectives and approaches. Films may be abstract or narrative, intimate or expansive, and explore various themes that present a distinct point of view, contributing to a shared conversation about what it means to be human, connected, and in process.
UNFINISHED celebrates work that does not claim final answers, but instead invites audiences into an experience that is reflective, thought-provoking, and alive with possibility. It is a space to witness movement, story, and inquiry in motion.
