With new works commissioned each year, the Company show strives to elevate the art of dance as a tool for social commentary and to engage and educate the community on pressing social issues. Through this process, RACE reinforces its dedication to producing works of social significance, fostering a culture of informed empathy and action within the community.
ACADEMY SHOWCASE
presents Luminance

Directed by Chloe Taylor in collaboration with Academy dancers
Youth dancers, ages 13-17, conceive and create a full-length original spring showcase in collaboration with the Academy Project Director. Academy dancers create the shows theme and create choreographic works through collaboration and teamwork.
