Directed by Hui Cha Poos
Cure-8 is an 8-week creative experience that pairs local dance makers with leading industry experts to produce new original works. Artists weave community engagement and advocacy for pressing social issues into their creative process, collaborating with local social service organizations to craft works informed by topics paramount to the community.

With new works commissioned each year, the Company show strives to elevate the art of dance as a tool for social commentary and to engage and educate the community on pressing social issues. Through this process, RACE reinforces its dedication to producing works of social significance, fostering a culture of informed empathy and action within the community.
ACADEMY SHOWCASE
May 28 & 29, 2027 at RACE the Space
Directed by Chloe Taylor in collaboration with Academy dancers
Youth dancers, ages 12-17, conceive and create a full-length original spring showcase in collaboration with the Academy Project Director. Academy dancers create the shows theme and create choreographic works through collaboration and teamwork.
